You ideally should be on our Championship Whatsapp Group and/or SMS Group to play this game where you'll get a reminder of where to play each week (and you get all the cheeky bants via Whatsapp) but you can still play this game without opting in to any group, but you would have to remember to visit the sub-link section of this web site to play. These are now contained within the corresponding Platinum League or Championship sections of this web site.

We do recommend you join either group and once you're in it, that's it, you're signed up. Our Whatsapp Group and SMS Group are your gateways to all things PG8 and you simply just need to register to either of them once to get future play info and competition details. If enough players sign up we will consider starting a Whatsapp Community (to give you an option to protect your data), but for now, be warned that your phone number will be visible to others on Whatsapp. We ask that you be considerate to other users. See section 6 of our rules to report issues. The SMS Group is totally private, but UK only, but we're working on a USA/Canada/Offshore compliant service.

Still want to get emails, you can now subscribe to our email list where we'll keep you updated regarding everything else PG8 including future media activity such as our planned podcasts, launches, draws, interviews, streams and league/cup/trophy game analysis.

You do require an email address to play the Platinum League so we can verify weekly entries and keep in touch with you if we ever need to discuss essential admin, i.e. card warnings, prize allocation, play off info and any other essential competition stuff. For The Championship, whilst you just need to use your date of birth to play, it is recommended you subscribe to either the Whatsapp List, SMS List or E-Mail List, so we have your contact details if we need them.

Primarily, the Whatsapp Group and SMS Group will provide each weekly competition sub-link, where you send us your game predictions, but as this game develops and grows, you can keep updated via email for everything else.
