Hey...

A really big thank you for registering for Prescott's Great Eight 2024 Christmas Trial.

This 5 week competition is a prelude to our third season, expected in August 2025 and will reward the winner with a £50 top prize.

That's right, £50, just for being the best at predicting 40 football results.

Here's how it works with a few rules to remember...

1) Every week, we'll send you an email with a sub-link.

2) Click on the link and it will take you to a form which will ask for your details.

3) It will also ask you to predict the outcomes of 8 football matches, needing you to select either Home Win, Away Win or Draw for the result after 90 minutes plus injury time.

4) You can find when each sub-link will be released and the required 6pm UK Time Friday deadline date @ XMAS FIXTURES.

5) You get a point for each correct prediction with the highest scorer winning the top prize. In the event of a tie we'll contact the eligible players and ask them to predict the outcomes of one more match of our choosing, not only including the result, but also other criteria, including minute of the first goal, the player to score that goal, the number of cards, the number of cautions and the exact score.

6) We'll update the Prescott's Great Eight 2024 Christmas Trial League Table on our web site every week @ PG8LEAGUE.COM.

7) The week before, the sub-link will be available @ PG8LEAGUE.COM on the Wednesday prior to each Friday weekly deadline and will be emailed to you and released via the Whatsapp Group on the same day.

8) Entries not received every week by the published Friday 6pm UK Time deadline will not be valid.

ADDITIONAL RULES

9) In the event a match in any week is postponed, we'll keep a note of your prediction, in the event that the same match is rescheduled before the competition ends. In the event the match is rescheduled after that, we will add a new match to the following week's schedule.

10) As no one recruited any more players than PG8 themselves, we have decided to donate that cash prize to charity.
